DeathAdder V4 Pro, Launch Film
Designing a hybrid live-action and CGI product launch film,
created in collaboration with esports pro, NiKo.

Impact
The Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro didn’t need to be introduced loudly. It needed to be understood. We approached it as a series of moments that let performance speak for itself. You begin to understand it by feeling your way through it.
Very early on, it became about presence. How it sits, how it moves, how it responds.
It’s already a silhouette players trust, especially in esports, so the responsibility wasn’t to reinvent it, but to bring its improved qualities into focus.
Featuring NiKo reinforces qualities of thoughtful innovation and a deep connection to competitive play. We focused on the qualities unique to him, the way he grips, the precision in his timing, the subtle control in his movement.
Those nuances gave us a way in. To show the product through use, not description.
We started to build a visual language from the mouse itself. HUD elements drawn from its form, its geometry, even its internal mechanics. Not added on, but discovered. A way to make the innovation visible without breaking the spell.
From there, it became about holding a clear line. Between feeling and function. Between instinct and intention. That’s where the film sits.
Designing a visual and motion system carrying intent through every frame, integrating narrative, performance cues, and product selling points. From storyboarding and co-directing to overseeing 3D production and refining the edit, every choice resulted in a film that made the DeathAdder V4 Pro’s capabilities feel immediate and real.
