“A Second Chance” is a science fiction film that visually explores a future where technology has surpassed humans in the comfort of life. In this film, I treat technology as an A.I. that has its own consciousness. This is why it focuses on and features mostly machinery, alongside the quality of life humans are living. It can be considered an art intervention as it is being screened on a huge building that sells supercars, juxtaposing the concept of sustainability in technological progression against a giant car vending machine. Making it a thought-provoking sci-fi film, for Singaporeans to enjoy.
